by Albert Stevens Crockett (Author), Ross Bolton (Introduction by)
Unabridged reproduction of "The Old Waldorf Astoria Bar Book 1935" with a new introduction by Ross Bolton. This 1935 bar guide and bartender's recipe book is special as it was written right after prohibition about the drinks that would be served to famous people of the time.
A.S. Crockett also gives the history of the hotel's bar and a historical view of how drink recipes changed before and after prohibition.
